The 2009 North Dakota State Fair was the site of the first-ever "Kuchen Kontest." 30 minutes prior to the contest starting, people were lining up. The votes were INCREDIBLY close, but Grandma's Kuchen took first with her strawberry-rhubarb kuchen. Look for this YUMMY event in 2010!

The Pride of Dakota program began in 1985 under the wing of the then Agriculture Commissioner Kent Jones. The program began with 20 members, and as Pride of Dakota celebrates its 25th year in 2010, its membership has grown to over 430.
Let's continue to grow in support of the state of North Dakota.
